Our program is designed to achieve computer literacy. Our students do not have much access to computers, much less the guided instruction we provide in Taa’ Pi’t. (Many of their parents have not had the opportunity of a formal education nor know how to use computers.)
Our program also strengthens each student’s academic level. With the use of virtual-interactive programs in our extensive virtual library, the student also learns critical and creative thinking. (Their public school education is traditionally formal rote and repetitive.) In our program, the child also gains significant increased self-esteem.
The impact of our program is far reaching, with our students sharing these abilities with their siblings, classmates, their parents, even grandparents and other adults in their families. |
