Computer Technology Program PDF Print E-mail

This program is designed to learn how to use the computer as a tool

and in this way technological literacy is achieved.

Our students do not have access to computers, much less the guided instruction we provide in Centro Taa’ Pi’t. (Many of their parents have not had the opportunity of a formal education nor know how to use computers.)

Our program also strengthens each student’s academic level.

Using a variety of virtual-interactive programs in the form of games,

the student also learns critical thinking.

(Their education is traditionally formal rote and repetitive.)

In this way, the child also gains increased self-esteem.

The impact of our program is far reaching, with our students sharing these abilities with their siblings, classmates, their parents, even grandparents and other adults in their families.
